I am fascinated by Exact Rail's Vert-A-Pac cars.  Finding pictures is tough due to their limited life (roughly early 70s through very early 80s).  Designed to ship Chevy Vegas and later the Chevette, they became orphans when those car lines died.

I weathered these as if it were 10 years into their service life.  Oil washes followed by highlights of streaked rust, and then both soot and dust colored powders.  Sealed with Dullcote.  As I acquired other Vert-A- Pac cars I simplified the process to pigment only with  very convincing results.

If it bothers you to see these behind SD70s, -75s, and  dash-9s, don't visit my railroad.
