These are Bachman Spectrum F40PHs from 1990.  I ran them once then removed the details and stripped the paint as the factory finish was crappy.  I unpacked them 03/10, removed the factory plow pilot, fabricated a new pilot and added a DA snow plow.  Also filled the oversized grab iron holes and drilled new ones adding scale grab irons and MU hoses.

I added black pigment to the roof from the exhaust rearward but kept the loco fairly clean.  They still run smoothly.  I have to reconfigure the coupler mounting as they project too far out from the body.
